Ex-gay Fraud

19. EX-GAY FRAUD:

There are in Christian Bookstores today books sold such as Coming Out of Homosexuality, of which I call the ex-gay fraud. The logic in these books are easily refuted. For example, one of their causes for male homosexuality is that a boy molested as a child by a male figure will become a homosexual. And for a lesbian, she as a child was molested by her dad or some other male figure, develops some hatred for men, then becomes a lesbian. Look at this contradiction. Going by their logic, you would think a female figure would be the perpetrator by molesting the girl, thus causing the child to become a lesbian. And what about the fact that millions of females are molested as a child by a male figure, and consider themselves straight and have sex with men. Or what about the boys that were molested by a male figure and did not turn out gay. Another thing this book says contributes to the homosexual identity is that people are attracted to others regarding things they lack in themselves. A homosexual male might be attracted to a man that has muscles or a bigger groin area. However, this is absurd. These desires are known as wants and don’t contribute to sexuality. There are plenty of straight men that want muscles and a bigger penis, but are exclusively heterosexual with no gay feelings. Also, this statement doesn’t apply to all gay males. There are plenty of gay males that work out and have muscles and are well packaged. Does a want contribute to a same-sex attraction? People want all kinds of things in this life: money, cars, music, etc., but are not sexually inclined to these objects.- How did psychology get in the church? Do you know that psychology can be evil. When a man or woman has had some problems and they go to a psychologist, a psychologist will tell them your problems are because of this and this reason, and because your parents didn’t do this, that is why you are having these problems now. Psychologists will turn the children against the parents. Why don’t psychologists tell their customers that there are cause and effects in life, and that the individual needs to take responsibility for his/her actions that the individual could have controlled, and know about the things that were not his fault.

Also, why don’t you ask the experts (psychologists) if they think being lesbian or gay is a choice. They will tell you it is not. Christians need to stop preaching against something that science has already proved, namely, that people are born lesbian and gay.

Science has proven that the brain formation of gay males is practically the same as women. Science has also discovered that gay males have more of the x chromosome. And lastly, Science has proven that Lesbians have more testosterone than estrogen.

20. HOW THE CHRISTIAN CHURCH SHOULD ACT AND PLEASE GOD:

In the Bible, it says a scribe came to Jesus and said: “..Teacher, what shall I do to inherit eternal life? Jesus said to him, What is written in the law? How do you read it? He answered, saying to him, You must love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind; and your neighbour as yourself. Jesus said to him, You spoke the truth; do this and you shall live.” (Luke 10:25-28 Lamsa). We are to love our neighbor as ourselves. Is the lesbian and gay male our neighbor? Also, the Bible says this: “If any man thinks that he ministers to God, and does not control his tongue, he deceives his own heart, and this man’s ministry is in vain.” (James 1:26 Lamsa). It is amazing how many priests and pastors use words that are hate filled, and not out of love.
