6. “For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all the iniquity and wickedness of men who unjustly suppress (hold) the truth; Because that which may be known of God is manifested to them, for God has revealed it to them. For, from the very creation of the world, the invisible things of God have been clearly seen and understood by His creation, even His eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: For they knew God and did not glorify Him and give thanks to Him as God, but became vain in their imaginations, and their hearts were darkened so that they could not understand. And while they thought within themselves that they were wise, they became fools, And they have changed the glory of the incorruptible God for an image (idol) made in the likeness of corruptible man, and in the likeness of birds and of four-footed beasts and of creeping things on the earth. That is why God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their hearts, to dishonour their own bodies among themselves; And they have changed the truth of God for lies, and worshipped and served the created things more than their Creator to whom belong glory and blessings for ever. Amen. Therefore God has given them up to vile passions; for even their women have changed the natural use [of their sex into] that which is unnatural; and likewise also their men have left the natural use of the women and have run wild with lust (anger) toward one another, male with male committing shameful acts, and receiving in themselves the due recompense of their error. And as they did not consent in themselves to know God, God has given them over to a weak mind, to do the things which should not be done; as,” (Romans 1:18-28 Lamsa). Romans is often quoted as scripture that forbids relations between persons of the same sex. But Romans is actually referring to idolatry. It says of the people “...And they have changed the glory of the incorruptible God for an image (idol) made in the likeness of corruptible man, and in the likeness of birds and of four-footed beasts and of creeping things on the earth.” These people glorified and worshipped their idols of man, birds, four-footed beasts, and creeping things. It also says of these idolaters “..And they have changed the truth of God for lies, and worshipped and served the created things (idols) more than their Creator to whom belong glory and blessings for ever. Amen.

In Romans 1:26-27 it says: "Therefore (Because of this [idolatry]) God has given them up to vile passions; (disgraceful [mental] griefs) for even their women have changed the natural use [of their sex into] that which is unnatural; And likewise also their men have left the natural use of the women and have run wild with lust (excessive with desire) toward one another, male with male committing shameful acts, and receiving in themselves (their nature) the due recompense of their error.” The words in parenthesis is what I believe the Aramaic is saying. The bracketed words are not in the Aramaic New Testament.

(1) It says the women have changed the natural use, and the men have left the natural use of the women. First of all, the words "natural use" should be read as "instinctual use." The word kyan means nature, disposition and instinct. These men and women were heterosexual. We know this because they went against their instinct and had sex with the same gender because they were blinded by their religious beliefs. Hosea 4:14 talks about women sleeping with women because of their pagan beliefs. That verse states that the daughters and brides of men will mingle themselves with whores. The word “whores” has the feminine plural ending. The word “harlots” or “female shrine prostitutes” (Per the Hebrew text) are feminine in ending as well. Additionally, and back to Romans, verses 21-25 (and beyond) tell us that these pagans hearts were darkened (they were in ignorance) and that they made images of God's creation.
The words saying that "the women changed the instinctual use [of their sex into] that which is against their instinct" and "the men have left the instinctual use of women" does not sound like gay people. It is natural for gay people to be with the same gender and is according to their instinct / disposition. Gay males or women have not left the opposite gender because they were never with them to begin with. Also, more proof that the above mentioned men and women are heterosexual is emphasized by the Aramaic text using the word dich-re (“heterosexual men) and the text using the word niq-we (“the penetrated ones” or “females”) in this chapter. A gay male would hardly be considered a man, since he is called a female ni-sha-ya in the Aramaic language. And a lesbian would hardly be considered “penetrated.”
The emphatic form of “woman” (ni-sha-ya) means “an effeminate,” in the Aramaic language. Niq-wa (singular) is the same as the Hebrew word Neqe-vah (Strong’s # 5347). Niq-wa comes from the Aramaic root word nqaw (to bore, pierce, perforate, dig through, etc.). Niq-wa also means “ a hole.”

(2) Verse 27 of Romans says "and receiving in themselves the due recompense of their error." This verse should read: “and they received a due recompense for their error.” The word “in” comes from the Aramaic preposition Beh. Beh’s primary meaning is “with,” but nobody has translated this verse to say” “and receiving with themselves the due recompense of their error.” How Arameans talk is different than how we Americans talk. Beh often does not need to be translated. Part of a translator’s job is to translate an Aramaic sentence into modern English speaking. These men and women received shame and mental grief as a recompense from God because they were committing shameful acts against their instinct.
